This is my virtual space for fiber. Besides me in my house, there are 2 fishes, 1 cat, 4 kids, 1 man and limited space for fiber. So the virtual one comes in handy.

FO no. 8, 2006, zik-zak socks

Camera retrieved, socks done. Yes of course they should've been a long time ago. After all they were for my mom's birthday which was back in april - but anyway and anyhow - time flies too fast for me and here they are:

(Oh yes, I'm taking the liberty of modelling them myself. After all  - it shouldn't matter - I have my mom's long and funny feet anyway, haha!):

PacMan heel and all:

details:

yarn: opal hagebutte- about 60 - 70 g

needles: 2,5 mm set of 5 dpns

pattern source: das geniale sockenbuch!

So.

I was not going to knit more socks this summer. But what is this:

Dunno. They just crawled up on my needles. Cotton, online, feels fabulous btw.

And the print of the wave stole is slowly getting longer:

And did I mention that summer arrived?!:

Yes, it certainly did! Let's see.. - about 6 or 8 hours ago! Wooooohoooo!!!

Very nice socks indeed. And thanks for originally pointing towards the german book. Knitting that boomerang-ferse is so satisfying :-)
