This is my virtual space for fiber. Besides me in my house, there are 2 fishes, 1 cat, 4 kids, 1 man and limited space for fiber. So the virtual one comes in handy.

Vive la France!

I am back from vacation!  And was it good? Yes, indeed it was! A very long trip by car - and especially long with four kids in the back seat... A newly purchased DVD - player saved us - and we made it!  All the way down there and back again!

I even got to knit a bit in the car. Birch - birch - birch! - lovely green one - found the exact color I wanted right before we left. Pictures to come one of the next days...

So - for anyone interrested - here are some photos form FRRRAAAAANCE!:

Right outside the house where we rented the top floor apartment. My daughter walking down the street early in the morning - to the bakery - time for breakfast...

Croissants, fruits, honey, coffee, lazy mornings, summer, mmmmm.....

View at the Lac Ste Croix - 40 min. drive north of where we were staying. Wonderful scenery and wonderful lake for swimming.

Canoeing into Gorge du Verdon - from the lake.

Little fellows seen on the marked in Aix-en-Provence...

View from the roof terrace at the place we stayed.

What country - again??!

-eeehh...

they even had great food and wine there!

-and a place called Provence...

I will be back soon with more knitting... Promise!

I know you've had a nice vacation! I have just spent two weeks camping at Lac du St. Croix together with MY Birch. Unfortunately Birch didn't "grow" in France.... Instead I began two new projekts - both shawls, off course!! I'm a shawloholic....
