This is my virtual space for fiber. Besides me in my house, there are 2 fishes, 1 cat, 4 kids, 1 man and limited space for fiber. So the virtual one comes in handy.

My heart goes out to Iceland

They really have a hard time up there. I know there are a lot of ordinary people suffering because of doings and decisions they had no part in. I hope someone, somehow will be able to solve this.

Buying icelandic goods might be a good idea - but I cannot imagine the amount of wool it would take to make a difference. I guess this doesn't help much:

Iceland in our hearts by you.

IMGP6776 by you.

For outdoor garments this is the best wool in the world. I have a boy who used to love his icelander. Now he is finally getting a new one!

And having a dad approaching a big birthday gives me another excuse to buy yarn, which I am not supposed to. Screams my overfilled yarn cabinet. But it's icelandic, and it's for dad. I scream back.

takk for dine varme ord. Vi almindelige Islendinger ved ikke hvordan vi skal klare os de næste arene men vi ma ikke give op.
Den islenske LOPI er meget fin. Har du prövet at strikke den uspunnen? Det er meget sjövt og lekkert.

I absolutely agree with your thought about having to suffer from consequences of other people decision. Love the icelandic yarn! - you can never have enough yarn. I can swim in mine :D
