This is my virtual space for fiber. Besides me in my house, there are 2 fishes, 1 cat, 4 kids, 1 man and limited space for fiber. So the virtual one comes in handy.

It's a..........scarf!

Meet Cowslip, the scarf. Ready for numerous walks into the garden, and eventually out into the big world...

details:

pattern: cowslip

yarn: noro shinano, shade #12, less than 4 skeins.

needles: 5 mm circular bamboo

modification: cast on 37 sts instead of 45 as I didn't have the 5 skeins pattern called for..

Incident while knitting this: my right elbow is not behaving...   aaarrrrggghhhh!!!

That scarf is beautiful, both texture and color choice. I'd probably be wearing it everyday, too.

What a lovely texture! I just love this Noro - very nice! I just finished working with Noro too for a project, and I am already thinking of another one! ;)

lovely scarf! although i do keep reading the name as "cowlick" ;-)

it looks very dandy with your green coat. perfect.

careful with the elbow! maybe i should hold on to that zephyr, you know, just to protect you ...

What a gorgeous scarf! I've never tried the Shinano, but it looks really nice. Sorry to hear about the tennis elbow. I used to suffer a lot from tendonitis a few years ago, and found physiotherapy very helpful.
