This is my virtual space for fiber. Besides me in my house, there are 2 fishes, 1 cat, 4 kids, 1 man and limited space for fiber. So the virtual one comes in handy.

One small (pair of) FO and more summer..

Before the man's and mine little trip to Denmark (thanks for grandparents!....) I finished the Online cotton socks! They were perfect in the cool fan-air of the car. My feet are allways cold while driving - in fact especially in summer when I mostly wear sandals (ahem - with no socks in them...). This time, however they were warm and comfy:

details:

yarn: online cotton, approx. 60 g (these socks being more like anclets - I had enough yarn left to make a pair of children's socks, you better ask my niece for pictures! ;))

needles: 5 dpns 2,25 mm.

pattern: basic sock pattern, shortrow (pacman!) heel, which looks best on these fair-isle-illusion yarns, I think.

So in the car they were great - but I threw them away when I got a glimpse of Vesterhavet (The western ocean - off the west coast of Jutland, Denmark, in my opinion probably one of the most beautiful places on earth) ....

I think I've hardly ever seen that ocean as calm as that particular sunday...

Canīt decide what I like more -the beach with this beautiful skyline, it is like the end of the world. Wish I could be there, too.
Or the beautiful colours of your socks. And you are right, air con in cars is always making freezing feets and shoulders - so where was your beautiful shawl?

I think that the light in Europe is very different from Australia - here coastlines look very stark and bleached - but Jutland looks gorgeous, so romantic. : )

Your socks look cute!
